  • 5000+ Sounds ($2) is a collection of over 5000 sounds that have been organized into various categories and can be played in loops, with a delay, or at random. The application also includes a built-in search engine fro sorting through the large list of sounds. Additionally, users can build a list of their favorite sounds for quick access.

  • Easy Recipes - Food & Drink ($1) is a collection of recipes, each which includes full screen picture and step-by-step directions. All of the recipes are stored in the application meaning no internet connection is required. Each recipe also includes a separate ingredient list that can be used as a grocery store list.

  • My Budget ($2) is a cash management application that allows users to track their daily cash incomes and outflows. Users can set up different accounts for their checking accounts, credit cards, cash, etc. Then input any spending or earnings related to each of those accounts. Additionally, the data can be exported as a CSV or OFX file to be used with a spreadsheet or money management application on a computer.

  • Vihgo (free) is a photo tool for the iPhone that allows users to add various effects to their images. Effects such as rain, snow, rainbows, or fog can be added on to photos or the photo can be transformed to look like a canvas painting or an old photo. Each filter has several settings that can be modified to help users get the effect they desire and Vihgo supports both portrait and landscape modes.

  • Guitarist's Reference (free) is a tool for guitar players that includes information on chords, scales, arpeggios, tunings, notes and triads. The different sections include diagrams and sound files that help demonstrate the musical concepts in relation to the guitar and also includes a test mode where users can measure their learning on an ongoing basis.

      I just bought an iPhone last week after having a Blackberry for 6 years. The iPhone is so much better! Yesterday I downloaded my first few games, and the kids loved JigSee, which lets you take a picture from the iPhone camera and turn it into a jigsaw puzzle game. But I will be getting the VHIGO app now...
