Thermaltake shows off BMW-designed PC case

updated 05:10 pm EST, Fri March 6, 2009

Thermaltake Level 10 case

At CeBIT on Friday, PC chassis, power supply and other PC accessories maker Thermaltake showed off its unique Level 10 PC case that was designed in conjunction with stylists from Germany's BMW Designworks. Instead of housing components in one big box, the case has modular compartments for each piece of hardware, such as graphics cards, optical and flash or hard drives, the mainboard and the power supply. Whether the power and signal cables for each of the components are hidden in the thin walls is also unknown.

No information in terms of availability dates or pricing has been revealed about the Level 10 case. [via CrunchGear]

    I guess

Kind of a good way to ignite your company image I guess.

So all the PSU cable are built in and run into each specific compartment? If so then it wouldn't really be modular, now would it.

Lets just hope it's easy to dust to keep it ultra shiny.

    Different

Honestly I really like the look if only for the novelty. It's not a good design to make it easy to upgrade by the look of it, but if you wanna make your epenis bigger it looks great!
