updated 03:05 pm EST, Wed March 4, 2009

ResizeMe 2 released

A second edition of Dare to be Creative's ResizeMe utility has been released, bringing with it a variety of new features. The app is a batch image processing tool, used to save time by performing mundane tasks such as scaling, cropping and rotation. ResizeMe 2 attempts to significantly expand functionality, for instance by revising the interface with features such as a live preview window.

The software more significantly expands processing, with options such as the ability to convert images between formats including JPEG, TIFF, PNG and PDF. Customizable watermarks can be applied to protect copyright, and simple visual effects have been added in the form of reflections and drop shadows. Variables such as opacity, color, offset and blur can be adjusted. ResizeMe costs $30, and is a Universal Binary for Mac OS X 10.5.
