MacFamilyTree 5.4 adds new export and editing options

MacFamilyTree 5.4 update
Synium Software has announced MacFamilyTree 5.4, an update to its genealogy application that is designed to help create and organize family trees. The latest version offers a newly designed web export function that can send pages in different directions, additional and improved themes, and the ability to create a Kinship Report on each person's page. The company has improved the charts and reports, while also offering enhancements to the virtual coordinates search.
The new chart feature provides revamped printing and editing capabilities, enabling users to customize the font and display notes for every chart. The printing and PDF export functions enable each report to be saved as a HTML file, while allowing particular events to be excluded in the places and event report.
The virtual coordinates function now includes a larger and more detailed locations database, and offers the ability to display country and state information with search results to help identify specific areas.
The program has also offers enhancements to the alignment of individuals in the family assistant, along with the options window for the charts, reports, and edit modes. Lastly, the update also includes a new display feature that shows marriage and divorce dates, and a new quick-navigation view which is available in the family assistant.
MacFamilyTree 5.4 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.9 or higher and can be downloaded from the Synium Software website. The new version is currently priced at $25 for existing users, or $50 brand new.
MacFamilyTree also comes as a mobile version for the iPhone or iPod touch that links to its Mac counterpart.
