BRU Producers Edition

The Tolis Group has released BRU Producer's Edition, an application that provides tools for archiving artist sessions. The product is geared for music, film and graphics arts professionals, with options that allow users to drag-and-drop volumes, folders, or individual files into organized sessions. Backup output can be routed simultaneously to two separate tape copies for added security or delivery to clients.

Operators have the option to create a single archive containing all components on one set of backup tapes, multiple archives containing multiple components on a single set of tapes, or several tapes with different components on each. The tape library supports up to two drives and 24 slots.

The program takes advantage of multi-processor and multi-core technologies. Supported applications currently include Sonic Studio, Logic, Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack Pro, among others.

Producer's Edition is available for $500 with a single-user license, while a five-pack license is priced at $1,900 and a 10-pack can be purchased for $3,200.
