LISTSERV Maestro 4
L-Soft has released LISTSERV Maestro 4, an update to its e-mail marketing application designed for e-mail list communicators and e-mail marketers. The software enables users to send targeted and personalized e-mails, and provides job management and tracking features. Version 4 of the program has added several new functions such as sending an e-mail to an entire recipient database as opposed to having to send separate mailings to individual lists, and new system metrics that continuously monitor disk usage, delivery statistics, HTTP request counts, and response times. The update also provides changes to the tracking permission and action tracking, along with new demographic reporting, external triggers, and single sign-on capabilities.
Tracking Permissions now offers a built-in way to gain permission for personal tracking from recipients. This enables marketers to gather personal tracking information from people who have given permission, when sending e-mails to a mixed group. Improvements to the action tracking make it possible to monitor the page visits and viral marketing activities after a recipient has read an e-mail and clicked on links to the target websites.
Additional features of the software consists of being able to create demographic reports about subscribers in a data warehouse, support for external triggers that allows external processes to trigger recipient downloads and to import new recipients, and a new sign-on capability which makes it possible for administrators to switch back and forth between the administration hub and user interface with one click and using the same password. LISTSERV Maestro 4 is currently available for download and works with any Mac OS X. Pricing is only available through direct contact with the company.
