CrushSync 1.1 update
CrushSync has released v1.1 of its self-titled backup software. Data is copied to a secondary location, whether on local, network or remote storage; automatic schedules can be arranged to avoid manual effort. Distinguishing the app is support for two-way synchronization, which can be used to ensure that both sources and destinations have the most recent versions of any given file.
The most recent update introduces support for the SFTP protocol, enabling more closely protected transfers of data to remote servers. Merge syncs can now move files instead of copying them, and syncs in general should be faster while consuming less memory. The software can also be installed as a daemon. CrushSync is priced at $20.
