Pro Tools 8.0cs2 fixes bugs, user interface issues

updated 07:30 pm EST, Thu February 26, 2009

Pro Tools 8 update

Digidesign has released an update to its audio workstation, Pro Tools 8. The second "customer support" download addresses a number of bugs relating to editing, plug-in automation and the user interface. The interface bug caused problems when using third-party plug-ins in the channel strip, sometimes leading to improper mouse navigation. Another bug would crash the application and delete information when a session start time was changed.

Pro Tools would also crash when transferring automated plug-ins from Inserts F-J to Inserts A-E, while another bug would overwrite the automation for all plug-ins when working with a single plug-in on Insert F-J.

Pro Tools 8.0cs2 can be downloaded directly from the Digidesign website. [via Macworld]
