OWC releases Voyager hard-drive dock bundles

Other World Computing has released a number of new Voyager hard-drive docking bundles, with storage capacities up to 2.0TB and dual-interface or quad-interface options. The external Voyager S2 features USB 2.0 and eSATA connection options, with support for both Windows and Mac systems. Customers can choose between a 500GB or 1.0TB Hitachi Deskstar drive, 1.5TB Seagate Barracuda drive, or a 2.0TB Western Digital Caviar Green drive.

The external Voyager Q dock features FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0 and eSATA connection options. The dock can be bundled with a 500GB, 750GB or 1.0TB Hitachi Deskstar drive, 1.5TB Seagate Barracuda drive or a 2.0TB Western Digital Caviar Green drive.

Each of the bundles ship with all necessary cables and a software package that includes Intech SpeedTools, Prosoft Data Backup 3 and NovaStor NovaBackup. Prices for the Voyager S range between $110 and $340 depending on the drive option, while the Voyager Q bundles cost between $150 and $380.

    I just got one today!

    I ordered the Voyager Q 500GB drive on Tuesday and received it today. So far it's working perfectly. I was worried this article was going to mention a price drop was announced today.
