Speck debuts new colors for SeeThru hardshell cases

updated 11:05 am EST, Thu February 26, 2009

New SeeThru colors

Speck has launched several new colors in its line of SeeThru hardshell cases for 13- and 15-inch unibody MacBooks and MacBook Pros. Adding to previous clear, pink, red and green cases, the new ones come in aqua, purple, green and hazard orange tints. Each case is designed to protect a MacBook from scrapes and scratches, while still delivering proper ventilation and access to the battery check button, Kensington lock, optical drive and all ports.

The cases can moreover be removed at any time, and are equipped with rubberized feet to prevent slipping. The SeeThru line is being sold through the Speck website at a cost of $50; the hazard orange color, notably, is a limited edition.
