HP dv7t 2009 Update

HP has quietly updated the Pavilion dv7t with a key new display change and improved graphics. The updated model switches from the original, 16:10 ratio 17-inch display to a new 17.3-inch, 16:9 screen with a sharper 1600x900 resolution. It also gets AMD's new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530 as its baseline graphics chipset and can climb as high as the Mobility Radeon HD 4650.

The system now starts at $1,000 ($850 discounted) with a 2GHz Pentium dual-core, 2GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive and a DVD burner. Custom orders can upgrade to as much as a 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo or 2GHz Core 2 Quad, 8GB of RAM, 1TB of storage split across two drives, and a Blu-ray combo drive. Purchases made today ship in mid-March. [via Engadget]
