Fujitsu intros LifeBook A1120 with 15.6" HD display

Fujitsu LifeBook A1120

Fujitsu on Wednesday announced the upcoming release of its LifeBook A1120 notebook PC which is due to replace the current LifeBook A1110. Like the predecessor, the new notebook has swappable lids that lets users customize the look of the computer, but the notebook has upgraded hardware that increases system performance. Processing power comes from a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, while RAM can be upgraded up to 4GB. Storage can be optioned up to 250GB on a 5,400RPM SATA hard drive.

The screen has also been upgraded, now sporting a 15.6-inch widescreen capable of displaying 1366x768 high-definition video courtesy of the integrated GMA X4500MHD graphics processor. The display is rated at 220 nits of brightness and has a 350:1 contrast ratio. The notebook also has an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera and an internal digital microphone. A Bluetooth 2.1 module is integrated, as is a dual layer DVD burner.

The LifeBook A1120 ships with three replaceable and interchangeable lids, including Pink with Butterfly patterns, Royal Blue with Loyal Art patterns and Green with Labyrinth patterns. No definite release date was announced for the LifeBook A1120 notebook, but it is priced at $799 in base configuration on the company's US website.
