ScreenFlow update

Telestream has released ScreenFlow 1.5, an update to its screencasting application. The company has added titling and text capabilities, along with customizable mouse pointers and audio effects. The update also allows single-channel microphones to be automatically mixed into stereo, while users can export screencasts to Windows Media using the company's Flip4Mac WMV tools.

Text objects include a variety of fonts and styles that can be used for creating titles. The customizable mouse pointers include a virtual finger that is specifically geared toward iPhone developers for demos of iPhone apps.

The program provides a number of features for video screen capture. Corporate training or marketing users can use the program to add video to Keynote presentations, while educators can create interactive lessons.

ScreenFlow 1.5 is available directly from the company for $100.
