MacPractice DDS 3.6 ships
MacPractice has released MacPractice DDS 3.6, adding a new restorative dental charting function and enhancing its MacPractice DR digital radiography and photo features. The MacPractice Chart can be launched with a single mouse click and graphically displays preexisting conditions, treatment plans, and treatments performed. A second click flips the screen to display the patient ledger with charges and payments. The chart feature works with both US and International tooth-numbering systems.
MacPractice DR gains a new interface and an enhanced device driver for improved image quality that can aid diagnostic capabilities. The software also interfaces with digital panorama and cephalometric equipment.
MacPractice DDS handles office management for dental professionals, from patient and insurance billing to scheduling and prescriptions. Users must have a system running Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. Pricing information is available from the company.
