iPhone apps: Puzzlicious, HolyWars Veteran, Tasty

  • Puzzlicious ($1) downloads random images from the Internet and breaks them up into finger-sized jigsaw puzzle pieces or if players don't have an active internet connection they can use images from their Photo Library. Players can set a timer and then race the timer to finish the puzzles of pictures they have never seen before.

  • HolyWars Veteran ($3) is a tool that allows users to create their own polls and test other peoples opinions. Users can also take part in other peoples quizzes and build a personal rating by scoring well. As more people answer questions and polls users can see blinking spots of different colors on a moveable globe. Each colored dot represents someone's opinion and the location from where they are responding.

  • Tasty ($5) integrates the capabilities of the Delicious web interface into the iPhone experience. Each bookmark will display its title, additional description and even Favicons are supported. With Tasty, users can create new bookmarks, edit existing ones, browse bookmarks organized by tags or bundles, watch their bookmark inbox and access their delicious fans.

  • RemoteCalandar ($7) gives users direct access to calendars located on the Internet or intranet servers. RemoteCalendar uses CalDAV, a growing standard for accessing scheduling information on a server, to access all of a users calendars. This allows users to access all of their calendar events without the need to dock their iPhone with a computer.

  • Gold Runner ($1) is a remake of the classic game Gold Runner where players must collect as much gold as possible while avoiding guards. The game includes 33 different levels and two different control styles. Users can choose between three different sizes on-screen buttons or touch-screen "flicking" style. The game also features support for playing in both the portrait and landscape orientations.
