Greensboro Apple Store
Apple has confirmed the February 21st grand opening of its Greensboro, North Carolina retail store located between Williams-Sonoma and Anthropologie on Avoindale in the Friendly Center shopping complex. The doors will open to the public at 10:00 a.m. EST, while a special preview will be held for media earlier in the morning. The location will be the first in Greensboro and the largest in North Carolina.
The opening comes after a number of setbacks for Apple, including a mall expansion that gave the company a reason to delay until it could find a better space. Shopping center managers reportedly argued with Apple over the storefront location, claiming that the computer-maker was no different from any other retailer and should not receive preferential treatment.

... most of their other retailers didn't have lines going around the block when a new product arrives on the shelves...

You can now see the page for the Greensboro store on Apple.com when you look at their retail stores in North Carolina.
