Vjoon K4 CS4 support

Managing Editor Inc. has announced that its vjoon K4 5.9 R8 publishing system is now compatible with Adobe Creative Suite 4. The K4 layout and editing plug-ins for InDesign and InCopy, as well as the K4 modules including Web Editor, File Manager and Overview have been revised to work with the latest Adobe software. The company has also brought CS4 compatibility to its Notes Manager, Overset Manager and Revision Manager plug-ins.

The update addresses a number of bugs that existed in earlier versions, while offering new installation software including a silent installer that is designed to assist with integrating the software into large networks. Support for Adobe's InCopy ICML format has also been added, improving data exchange and facilitating links to third-party systems.

K4 5.9 R8 is available at no cost for any K4 customer with an active support agreement. New customers can obtain pricing information directly from the company.
