AnalystSoft has updated StatPlus:mac, improving ease-of-use and adding new graphics and calculations. The package has the same features as the Microsoft Analysis Toolpak offered in Excel 2004, but StatPlus:mac works with both Excel 2004 and 2008. The new release adds more data analysis types and a number of brand-new graphs, statistical charts and control charts like CUSUM and XBar chart, that are not available in Microsoft Excel.
StatPlus:mac is designed to work in a similar fashion to Excel for ease of use. It offers advanced statistical analysis and precise, repeatable calculations and supports ISO standards along with advanced analysis, including ANOVA and GLM ANOVA.
StatPlus:mac works with both Excel 2004 and 2008 and costs $250 ($200 through Sunday as a sales special). It is available as an educational license or in multiple licenses for substantial discounts.
