GarageSale 5.2 update
iwascoding has updated GarageSale, its eBay auction utility for the Mac. The software is used to produce auction listings in a WYSIWYG layout, and supports importing images directly from iPhoto or digital cameras including iSights. Users can set details like item attributes, and have the app upload photos automatically via FTP, WebDAV or MobileMe.
The v5.2 update is said to improve both speed and memory usage by virtue of using Spotlight to update smart groups and run searches. Users can now also take advantage of several more eBay features, including buyer requirements, the classifieds format and multiple shipping discount profiles. The upgrade is free for owners of GarageSale 4 or 5, or $15 for all other previous owners. The software sells for $35 new, and runs on Mac OS X 10.4 or better.
