P.Mac Backup SalesForce

Information Appliance Associates has announced PocketMac Backup for SalesForce, an application used to backup a user's SalesForce data. The program is able to automatically grab contacts from a SalesForce account, and save them to Address Book every 15 minutes. This ensures access to SalesForce information without an Internet connection.

The software also sends backups of task and calendar information to iCal, in order to help users keep track of important dates and appointments. Any information stored by the program can be included in a Time Machine backup, and synced to other devices using relevant tools. PocketMac Backup for SalesForce requires Mac OS X 10.5, and is priced at $25.
