Cylon Detector, iSpeak

  • iFeltThat ($3) provides iPhone and iPod touch users with up-to-the-second details and integrated maps of earthquake activity in 16 regions around the world. The program uses Location Services to reveal how far away and in which direction the selected seismic event occurred. Users can customize four regions that can be accessed with a single tap and also set the magnitude threshold for the list of earthquakes in each region independently.

  • MobileMix ($4) allows users to record individual tracks and then play them back simultaneously. Users can apply album artwork to each recording then layer several recordings to make a new song. This track can then be saved and uploaded to a computer.

  • SKOUT (free) is a social networking application that allows users to chat and meet new people while on the go. SKOUT is aimed at offering its users a means of finding single people located in their area. SKOUT is also accessible from any web browser but the iPhone application looks to give users access to their contacts anytime and anywhere.

  • Cylon Detector ($2) is a fun application for Battlestar Galactica fans that analyzes a photo and determines if someone is a human or cylon. Users can either take a new picture or select one from their photo library. Then after outlining the face in the picture the application will determine the status of the person and place their face in a Battlestar Galactica scene.

  • iSpeak French ($2) is capable of translating phrases from English to French or vie versa using Google's translation service. On top of translation the application can also read phrases using a text to speak engine that includes both an English and French voice.
