TeamViewer 4
TeamViewer GmbH has announced the availability of TeamViewer 4, its browser-based sharing application. The program can be used to transfer files, train employees, collaborate with team members or view presentations, with support for up to ten people. Users can access a partner list to store information, view the online status of each member, or enter an unlimited amount of users into the account. All users have the ability to connect with any other online partner.
The software works by allowing a user to view the desktop of a partner and even control the system remotely. The documents or applications can be accessed without the need to install the same third-party programs on each system. Files can be accessed from any computer after logging into the web-based program. TeamViewer also features key exchange and AES encryption to securely transmit data.
TeamViewer 4 is available with a business license for $700 or a premium license for $1400. Customers can also upgrade from TeamViewer 3, with prices ranging from $35 to $190. The program works across both Windows and Mac systems.
