Sony Ericsson AB900

Sony Ericsson as part of its launches on Tuesday unwrapped the AB900 Bluetooth speakerphone. The device serves as a typical speakerphone for the desk or car but can pick up stereo Bluetooth audio and pipe it through FM radio to send it through the car's speakers. Incoming calls work on the more ubiquitous hands-free Bluetooth standard and switches both to and from music on the fly.

The relatively large frame gives the AB900 a long 26 hours of continuous talk time and as much as 40 days of standby. As many as six different phones or other devices can be paired with the speakerphone, while the device can remember five phone numbers as well as streamline access to voicemail. Sony Ericsson doesn't say when the AB900 will ship but often releases these peripherals worldwide.
