CLC bio Server software
CLC bio has released a new set of tools for high-performance computing-based analysis of next-generation sequencing data, CLC Science Server and CLC Genomics Server. The software is geared for enterprise use and offers three-tiered functionality including Workbench clients for individual users, a database and a server for completing complex calculations and integrating third-party tools.
The database API used by CLC Genomics and CLC Science Server allows the software to work in conjunction with CLC Bioinformatics Database, along with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, mySQL, and H2. The interface allows users to configure migration of data from existing databases, search data, or modify the data structure and content within the database. The program can also be used to create client scrips or applications for importing or exporting data.
The administrative options include individual permissions, different login names and passwords for each user, and variable access levels such as read access, write access, no access and executive access.
CLC Genomics Server and CLC Science Server are available as three variants including a small-, medium-, and large-business edition. Price quotes are available directly from the company.
