ShareTool 1.2.6 for Mac
Yazsoft has released ShareTool 1.2.6, an update to its Bonjour connection tool. The new version displays a warning whenever multiple copies of the app are on the same network, and allows configuration of the program to improve VPN connections. In addition to previous e-mail changes, any e-mails sent out now include both external and local IP addresses. Changes have also been made to increase info displayed in the Dock menu, and add an option to resize the main window whenever a service is added.
When connecting through a VPN, the "browse web securely" option has been disabled. Updates made elsewhere enhance the remote printing set, move "connect through proxy" under the Connect tab, and automatically save to the Documents folder as well as print from the default printer. Translations have been added for German, French, Polish and Spanish.
ShareTool 1.2.6 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher, and can be downloaded from the company’s website. Price tiers are divided into $20 for a single license, $30 for two licenses and $75 for a "Lite" user license.
