Samsung C6625 leaks

Thanks to a product listing from UK-based cellphone dealer Expansys, the latest handset from Samsung, the C6625, has been made public. The tri-band GSM phone also supports the 2,100MHz WCDMA band and will connect to 3G data networks. Users interface with the device via a QWERTY keyboard and 2.6-inch, 320x240 display on the Windows Mobile 6.1-driven device.

There is a 2-megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom capable of capturing 25fps videos. The handset will sync with Windows Media Player to import and play back AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3 and WMA audio files or MP4, 3GP, H.264 and WMV video files. As well, there is an FM radio with RDS integrated into the phone. A web browser and e-mail client are built-in. Apart from the 100MB of built-in memory, there is an external microSDHC card slot for expansion. Bluetooth 2.0 and an assisted GPS service support are also part of the C6625's features.

The 1,300mAh battery is rated at seven hours of talk time or 300 hours of standby.

Expansys lists the handset at the equivalent of about $365, including tax, though no specific launch dates are known. More information about the Samsung C6625 is expected to come at the Mobile World Congress in less than two weeks. [via MobileCrunch]
