Nickelodeon apps
Nickelodeon, in collaboration with Mobui, has launched SpongeBob Tickler for the iPhone and iPod touch. The app is based on the SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon series and features a virtual SpongeBob character for users to play with in an underwater setting. Users can tap the screen to talk or blow bubbles, shake the device to jump, or tilt the iPhone to make SpongeBob hang onto the sides or to see Gary (SpongeBob’s friend) slide by.
The game offers a series of background pictures, with options to zoom in on SpongeBob to stretch his face, or to play music with his record player that he dances along to. SpongeBob’s eyes will follow the user’s fingers while they are pressed on the screen.
In addition to SpongeBob Tickler, Nickelodeon is planning to release several other applications including Dora the Explorer, iCarly, Jigsaws-To-Go, Sara’s Super Spa and two more SpongeBob titles.
Dora the Explorer will allow users to match shapes, count numbers, and practice the alphabet, while Jigsaws-To-Go provides over 40 puzzles. iCarly will require players to help the iCarly crew get ready for their next show by issuing quests around the school and playing mini games in the studio. Sara’s Super Spa is based on a shockwave.com game with the goal of assisting Sara while she creates a successful shop.
SpongeBob Diner Dash is a SpongeBob version of a previous Diner Dash game and takes place in locations such as the Krusty Krab, while SpongeBob’s Wacky Walk will allow users to tap, swipe, tilt, and shake scenery to get obstacles out of the way.

Yay Way to go Nickleodeon
And yet again our content providing overlords rule that such an app should be market segregated, with no UK store release.
When are these guys gonna gain an understanding of "Global Market"?
