DX1 available for Mac

Ergodex and Polymicro Systems have announced that the DX1 customizable input tool is now available for the Mac platform. The device allows users to configure key arrangements to suit a variety of needs. The keys can be reassigned or reoriented as needed, with support for applications including browsers, e-mail clients, graphics software, word processors, games and video editing software. The keys feature an adhesive that attaches to a pad, without the need to connect each individual character using wires or battery power. Customers can also purchase pre-printed labels.

The DX1 input system includes KeyJack software and can be purchased for $165. The package consists of a pad, 25 keys, clear tray and key labels. The software supports Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, along with Windows 2000 or XP, while the hardware connects via a USB cable.
