F.A. Davis Company has published the 21st Edition of Taber’s Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary, making it available in print, electronic, web and mobile formats. The encyclopedia defines the language and practice of health care to provide over 60,000 definitions, detailed illustrations, patient care statements, and appendices with nursing and allied health-specific resources. Taber’s Online gives users full access to all the information from any mobile phone, laptop or desktop.
Every print copy of Taber’s 21 comes with the new Taber’s Plus DVD. The added multi-media toolkit offers a variety of interacting experiences, practical clinical tools, and links to electronic resources. Complete with over 1,000 images and hundreds of terms with definitions and pronunciations, users will also receive 30,000 Audio terms. A free one year subscription to web and mobile access of all the content in the print version is also provided.
Taber’s 21 comes with new teaching resources for instructors and learning tools for students, and grants access to 1,100-question test bank, a scavenger hunt, and an image bank. Any students or clinicians get password-free access to animations, videos, and Taber’s word-of-the-day.
