QuarkXPress update
Quark has released the latest version of its publishing software, QuarkXPress 8.02. The update adds user interface localizations for Danish, Norwegian, Czech, Portuguese and Finnish. The program also now supports the latest Pantone Goe color libraries, while offering an improved installation process for large workgroups. Users can also take advantage of a streamlined activation process that allows a transition from the 60-day trial version to the full version without requiring a second software installation.
Existing owners of QuarkXPress 8 can download the update for free, while an upgrade from earlier versions is priced at $300. The full product can be obtained for $800.

Argument?

Can anyone here make an argument why Quark 8 is better than InDesign CS4?

InDesign has become as capable as QuarkXPress, as far as I can tell. However, there are lots of users who have been using XPress for a long time. Also, if Quark went away, what would be the impetus for InDesign to get any better? Would it be better for pricing to have one option available, or better to have two? If ID hadn't originally been given away for free, there probably wouldn't be any ID4 today, nor an argument over which is better.
All you Quark haters need to use what you like, and not worry about those of us who use QuarkXPress.
