  • Typinator 3.4 ($27) is a tool that will type out repeating texts and pictures. Users can set up a list of commonly used words and images, and then set up fragments that can be used trigger each phrase or image. The new version adds a couple of user-requested features and includes a number of small improvements and fixes. Typinator can now be suspended temporarily and preserve the height of the set list when the window size changes. The update also allows the software to expand abbreviations in floating windows such as in Spotlight or the quick entry windows of OmniFocus and TaskPaper. [Download - 2.7MB]

  • FlashVideo Converter 2.3 ($100) is a tool for converting Flash SWF and FLV files to video files such as MP4, MOV and MPEG. The encoding process has been improved in the latest release and a new option for jerkless encoding has also been added. The update also address several small bugs. [Download - 15.7MB]

  • ProteMac Meter 2.2 ($30) is a network-traffic logging application that allows users to monitor all Internet and network activity. A stopwatch function can be used to time downloads and calculate average transfer rates. Users can also set alarms that will sound if the bandwidth or time limits have been exceeded by a particular application, or if a desired traffic volume has been reached. Apart from miscellaneous bug fixes the update has improved the reporting speed and fixed the reporting chart.[Download - 4.5MB]

  • iServices Trojan Removal Tool 1.1 (free) is a tool that can remove the iServices Trojan from infected Macs. The first variant of the trojan was found earlier this month in pirated copies of iWork 09 and now a new variant has been found in pirated copies of Adobe Photoshop CS4. Like its predecessor, variant B obtains root privileges, and notifies the remote host of the infected computer's location on the Internet. [Download - 0.52MB]

  • Integrity 3.1 (free) helps keep links on a users site from becoming broken. After entering a sites URL integrity will follow all of the internal links and find the ones that do not work. In version 3.1 each link checked includes a time stamp, views are customizable and the application icon has been updated. [Download - 0.59MB]

      What am I missing? Why would you need this $100 app when QuickTime Pro, $30 IIRC, does the job quite well?
