  • Prospects 1.2 ($30) is a personal finance application that allows users to manage their finances with features such as account monitoring and budgeting. This version adds scheduled transactions and reminders, account reconciling, automatic learning of rules for payees and categories, interface enhancements, the ability to navigate and edit transactions using only the keyboard, transaction filtering, and also fixes numerous bugs.   • Bricksmith 2.1 (free) allows users to create virtual Lego models and view them in three dimensional space. Bricksmith includes a large library of Lego parts each which are available in multiple colors. It also provides tools for creating steps and sub-models for more complicated creations. Version 2.1 includes several new features such as step rotations, a streamlined step display UI, improved line appearance and toolbar buttons for the Part Browser, Inspector and Colors.   • Rivet 2.0 ($19) is a tool for streaming content from a Mac to an Xbox 360. Rivet allows music streaming from an iTunes library, and video streaming from user-defined folders. Photos from Aperture, iPhoto, and various other folders can also be viewed. The latest update has added support for the PlayStation 3, increased the look-up speed of media, removed the filtering of iTunes+ songs, and fixed several bugs. [Download - 1.2MB]

  • Paintbrush 2.0 (free) is a simple paint program for Mac OS X, similar to Microsoft Paint. It provides tools for quickly creating simple images such as a pencil, paintbrush, and basic shape tools. the update has streamlined the UI and features a rewritten Text tool for more accurate placement of text boxes. Four new tools have also been added, including Airbrush, Rounded Rectangle, Eyedropper, and Zoom. [Download - 2.4MB]

  • PwdGen 1.2 (free) is a tool that can generate random passwords. Users can select the desired length of the password and then specify how to choose the characters. All of the keyboards characters are broken up into four different categories, numbers, uppercase, lowercase and punctuation, and users can select how many characters from each of the categories should be used in the password. Version 1.2 has added a requested punctuation checkbox and the software also now can remember previously used settings on launch. [Download - MB]
