In brief: FastMac has announced that it is now offering a special line of Obama inspired T-shirts to celebrate his inauguration as the 44th President of the United States. iRingPro has announced that they will now begin to donate a portion of every sale to a charity that seeks to provide education, meals and medical cares to children in Nepal. Meanwhile, Adobe has started a contest where users must use Acrobat 9 to create a media rich PDF to be entered into a gallery. Adobe is looking for a wide range of entries from general to industry-specific, allowing users of any experience level to win prizes.
FastMac has announced that to celebrate and commemorate President Barack Obama’s inauguration it will be releasing four Obama inspired T-Shirts. The T-shirts are available now & can be ordered from FastMac's website for a special (1-day only, while supplies last) introductory price of $4.44. FastMac’s Inauguration Day Commemorative T-shirts are available in 4 limited edition designs, including 2 designs in the Shepard Fairey style made famous by his iconic “HOPE” poster.
iRingPro has announced that a portion of every iPhone ringtone sale going forward will benefit Children of Nepal, an organization that provides education, meals and medical care, to impoverished Nepali children. iRingPro offers a Zen Collection of ringtones that is broken down into two categories: Meeting Grade, which are subtler, lower pitched, and richer and Active grade which are resonant and present.
Adobe is currently running a Show Your Work Sweepstakes that offers users the chance to win several prizes, including a copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and an iPod Nano. To enter users must submit a visually interesting and/or media rich PDF document using Acrobat 9 and then submit it to the contest gallery prior to February 20, 2009. The winners will be determined by random drawing of all eligible entries received and the drawing will take place on or about March 5, 2009.
