LG VX8360 at Verizon

Verizon on Tuesday held a quiet introduction for the LG VX8360. The flip phone sits in the carrier's lineup as an entry- to mid-range music phone and has music controls on its outer face for pausing and skipping tracks; it also comes with microSDHC support for cards up to 8GB and stereo speakers to play its AAC or MP3 music. Verizon expectedly gives the phone support for V CAST music downloads that include Rhapsody subscriptions.

Outside of its music features, the VX8360 hefts a 1.3-megapixel camera, EVDO and assisted GPS through Verizon's own subscription navigation service. The phone sells today for as little as $50 on a two-year plan with a rebate and tops out at $240 on contract-free, month-to-month service.
