Magic Bullet Quick Looks

Red Giant has released Magic Bullet Quick Looks, a new set of color-correction plug-ins for video editors. The software represents a scaled-down version of Magic Bullet Looks, which provides a full range of tools for tweaking visual styles. Quick Looks eliminates most custom options in favor of over 100 presets, based on the cinematography of famous films and TV shows.

Some styles emulated by the presets include those of CSI, Bad Boys, The Matrix and Saving Private Ryan. The styles are arranged into a Look Library, and reproduce everything from basic exposure or film stock changes to entirely new color schemes. An editor's own footage is used to preview styles in the Look Theater.

Magic Bullet Quick Looks costs $99, and is available for both Mac and Windows users. Supported editing suites include Motion, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and AVID Xpress Pro/Media Composer.
