  • CyberDuck 3.1 is an open source FTP and SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer) browser licensed under the GPL. The application features integration with external editors, as well as support for many Mac OS X system technologies such as Spotlight, Bonjour, the Keychain, and AppleScript. Version 3.1 has added support for both Amazon CloudFront (in conjunction with Amazon S3) and Cloud Files from Rackspace. CyberDuck also now features pre-configured protocol settings for MobileMe iDisk and can send rbitrary commands over SSH using the "Send Command" interface.   • HSC Edit 1.6 ($70) is a plug-in suite for Apple's Aperture photo workflow software. The extension is supposed to be able to perform more than 4000 different effects which have been divided between 15 different modules, including noise, color correction and lens distortion. The update has added a new Depth of Field tool that can be used to focus the viewer on the subject of the image. The software also allows users to change the size of the canvas and unwrap 180 degree hemispherical lenses. [Download - 60.5MB]

  • InerTrak 3.4 ($45) is a time-tracking tool that can track multiple projects at the same time. The software automatically tracks time spent on different projects and a detail view can show daily totals for each project, with the ability to check off days as they are billed.The update has added the ability to synchronize data between the desktop and iPhone versions of the software.   • QuickTemp 1.1 (free) is a utility that can be used to quickly convert between different temperature values. The application can convert to and from degrees Celsius, degrees Fahrenheit and degrees Réaumur. Users can use the sliders to select a temperature to be converted or type the value into the appropriate field. Version 1.1 has added support for direct temperature entry into text fields and has also increased the accuracy of the sliders. [Download - 0.64MB]

    Rulers 2.6 ($17) can place rulers and guide lines across a display, similar to the way common graphic editors can place rulers on working areas. Rulers can be used to measure and position objects or to select a screen area to take a screenshot of. The software includes support for multiple units of measurement and can perform automatic measurements. In version 2.6 dragging from a main rulers origin now creates an intersection and relative position is shown in the main rulers. The update has also addressed several bugs that caused the application to crash or behave unexpectedly. [Download - 9.3MB]
