Intelliscanner mini ships
IntelliScanner (Booth No. 537S) has announced its IntelliScanner mini cubed. The scanner uses barcode technology to automatically organize household items like movies, books and wine. The mini offers personalized asset tags and new software features for managing home assets, managing items for insurance records and sharing items with friends. The scanner is portable, with a rechargeable battery and retains scanned info until it can be synced to a Mac via USB.
The mini cubed comes with software for managing assets, organizing media, setting grocery lists and tracking wine maturity dates. It also arrives with an iPhone web application for viewing collections away from home. Custom asset tags are available for creating barcodes for items that lack them to track and organize items like furniture, electronics and other large assets.
The IntelliScanner mini cubed is now shipping for $180 with media software and $250 with the complete home organization software package. It requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher.

A very poor product
Two of the apps crash, the scanner will not "talk" to one of my Macs at all, and their customer service is very tough to get a response from.
