In brief: JNSoftware and FastMac have both announced special promotions in order to celebrate this years Macworld Expo. Meanwhile, HearPlanet has opted to promote its new iPhone application by getting a double decker tour bus and taking Macworld attendees on tours of San Francisco guided by its app. Also, recordings from WOWODC 2008 have been released and are available until the end of January at a reduced of $150, a savings of $50.

JNSoftware has announced that in celebration of the 2009 Macworld Conference, it will be offering a 25% discount on all software titles until January. 31st. Users can receive the discount by entering the coupon code "MACWORLD2009" with any online order. FastMac has also announced a few specials for Macworld 2009 including several items on sale at up to 50% off. Items on sale include a Blu-ray capable portable SuperDrive ($100), iV Extended Battery & Charger for iPhone ($60), Magsafe AC adapters ($60), Jawbone Bluetooth Headsets ($50), Airport cards ($30) & Apple iPhone AC Adapters ($20). The sale pricing is only available at FastMac’s Macworld Expo booth number 726, where technicians from the company will be available to answer questions & install upgrades on a while-you-wait basis.

HearPlanet has partnered with San Francisco's Super Sightseeing Tours to offer demonstrations of their iPhone application. Each day of Macworld attendees can hop on the HearPlanet double decker tour bus and go on a mini tour of nearby San Francisco sights, demonstrating the power of HearPlanet's ability to deliver its location based audio info on-the-go. HearPlanet has also created an exclusive audio guide to the very best Macworld events. By searching 'Macworld' in the HearPlanet application users can find featured parties and events with details narrated by their hosts. Also as a limited time promotion, the HearPlanet application is available for free during this week's Macworld.

MacTI and the WebObjects Community Association have announced the release of the recordings of WOWODC 2008, an annual event about WebObjects. The package includes all sessions from WOWODC 2008, and as a bonus it also includes the DirectToWeb session from WOWODC 2007, for a total of over 14 hours of content. Up to January 31th 2009, the complete package is available at $150, after which the price will rise to $200.
