Gallery: a closer look at iWork '09 [photos]
We have a taken a close-up photos of the new iWork '09 productivity suite, introduced at Schiller's Expo keynote Tuesday morning. iWork features new templates in Pages, Numers and Keynote, and adds publishing to iWork.com for collaborative efforts or sharing with friends and family. Keynote '09 gains a magic move feature and can now be managed by an iPhone or iPod touch for running presentations. Pages '09 adds full-screen view and dynamic outline capabilities, while Numbers '09 gets new charting options and improved formula writing.

The trial works great.
Web based markup alone is worth it. Beats the daylights out of emailing Word docs and trying to figure out who has which marked up version.
Apple BLEW IT
Phil spends an HOUR talking about iLife to fill in the time since there was really NOTHING groundbreaking to report. New 17" MBP? Big deal, that was a no-brainer.
NO new iMacs, NO NEW Mac Mini (that is a complete insult), no new displays.
Yet ANOTHER u n d e r w h e l m i n g MacWorld. Instead of going out with a BANG for their last MacWorld, they go out with a WHIMPER.
At least it was funny to see the MacRumors liveblog get HACKED by Windows folks. That was the ONLY highlight of the keynote.
