Pocket Informant, iPhone

Mobile PDA and WebIS (booth 1438) announced Pocket Informant for the iPhone/iPod touch. Available previously only for Windows Mobile and BlackBerry devices, the iPhone/iPod touch version offers an integrated calendar with tasks and search options, customizable settings, and sync capabilities for Google Calendar and ToodleDo through a network connection. The software also enables full task management, customizable smart groups, and smart groups for filtering overdue, completed, and due today.

Other features for the calendar include agenda; day, week, and month views; the ability to create and edit recurring appointments as well as add attendees; and full "landscape" support. Each row will display up to three lines of text, and the time bar quickly displays a user’s availability. To navigate through the days, weeks or months, simply slide a finger in the desired direction.

Also added is a "today view" function that displays daily events, things To Do, and next action To Do for GTD. When creating time and date appointments users can drag and drop the information in.

WebIS will be presenting Pocket Informant for the iPhone/iPod touch at Macworld Expo; the final release date has yet to be determined, however the App has already been priced at $13.
