Mophie has launched a new series of protective iPhone and iPod cases, under the Hardcase, Screen Shield and Hardcase Plus lines. The Hardcase is designed for Nano 4G, Touch 2G or iPhone 3G devices, and provides a clear plastic casing made from shatterproof polycarbonate.
The Hardcase Plus offers a thick see-through casing, and is again built with high-quality polycarbonate. It is compatible with the iPhone 3G and Touch 2G, with the key difference of including a hard protective layer for the screen, which nevertheless allows access to touch functions.
The Screen Shield is a thin plastic sheet placed over the screen of any iPhone 3G or Touch, meant to protect against scratches or fingerprints. As necessary, it can be washed or removed. Added features include anti-glare and UV protection, as well as a bundled cleaning cloth.
Available from the Mophie website, the Hardcase is priced at $25 for iPhones and Touches, or $20 for Nanos. The Hardcase Plus costs $30, and the Screen Shield sits at $12.
