EV Nova 1.1.0 ships

Ambrosia Software has added universal binary support to its Escape Velocity Nova 1.1.0 update, along with several bug fixes and feature improvements. The space-based strategy shooter game also now supports MacBook and MacBook Air systems with Intel GMA X3100 video cards. The game is the third in the Escape Velocity series featuring warring galactic factions pitted against one another. The space-battle environment is driven by a redesigned gaming engine.

The EV Nova shareware update requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher and is now available to purchase for $30. The company also offers a free trial version.
