iPhone apps: Email Group, Flash Drive, iMNotes

  • Email Group - Distribution List - Creator ($1) lets users create email groups for distribution of emails to multiple contacts. Groups can be created from existing contacts, while new entries can also be added manually. The lists can then be used in any e-mail application by adding the group to either the "to", "cc" or "bcc" line of a message.

  • Flash Drive ($5) is management utility for transferring files from a Mac or Windows computer to the iPhone or iPod touch. The application also features a built-in file viewer that can open content directly on the device, including PDF and Microsoft Office files as well as common book formats such as TXT, FB2, RTF and HTML.

  • iMNotes (Outlook Sticky Notes) ($4) provides over-the-air access to Exchange notes and provides the ability to edit, search, delete or view them in real time. The application can also create new notes which are automatically updated in Outlook.

  • Quicktact ($2) is a favorites-list app that can be used as an alternative to the default Contacts app. Users can specify favorite contacts and add or edit specific contact information. Users can choose to e-mail, text or call any entry by pressing a single button, without opening each individual contact card.

  • TextGuru ($5) is a text editor for the iPhone and iPod touch with functions including cut, copy, paste, find, replace and auto save. Users can also share files or read Office documents and PDF files in both portrait and landscape modes. The application can also e-mail entire documents, display content in any one of the 22 fonts on the iPhone or search within the text of the user's entire file collection.
