Snapture Flash for iPhone

Snapture Labs has announced SnaptureFlash, a xenon-bulb flash attachment for the iPhone. The device integrates with the Snapture app to allow automatic low-light detection and flash trigger. Both a xenon bulb and 0.3W white LED are built into a polycarbonate case that attaches to the back of the phone without obstructing the camera. A 320V 13μF capacitor is claimed to provide illumination 100 times brighter than conventional LED modules, while offering over 1000 captures in one charge.

SnaptureFlash is still in the prototype stage and is awaiting manufacture. The company has not yet provided a time-frame for public release or an estimated price.

    the camera"

    Well Thank You Captain ObviousNN.

It would be news if it DID obstruct the camera.
