B.Berry Media Sync preview

Research in Motion has posted an initial release, dubbed the Preview Version, of BlackBerry Media Sync for Mac. The software is used to sync iTunes libraries with RIM's BlackBerry phones, which may otherwise require third-party apps to load music from a Mac. Much as with regular iPod and iPhone syncing, Media Sync allows users to transfer select playlists to a BlackBerry, or else a randomly-chosen assortment of songs.

To prevent the storage on a phone from being overwhelmed, the app can also be set to fill no more than a specific amount from a given collection. Media Sync requires Mac OS X 10.5.5 and iTunes 7.7; RIM warns that the Preview Version is provided only "as is," and may be pulled at any time. The software additionally breaks any other BlackBerry sync apps, such as PocketMac or Missing Sync, until Media Sync is uninstalled. Supported phones range from the Pearl 8100 series through to the Storm.

Nothing except

Apple products work with DRM. Apple's protected music is exclusive to Apple products. RIM doesn't qualify.

for MAC?

I guess the fact that RIM can't even get the name of the computer right shows how little they understand the Mac market. let's not hold our collective breath, shall we?
