iFood offers recipe instructions, shopping help

Kraft Foods has announced iFood Assistant, an application for the iPhone and iPod touch that provides a variety of food and meal-planning ideas. iFood contains over 7,000 recipes with step-by-step instructions, including tips and shortcuts for meals on-the-go. Other features include video demonstrations, a smart shopping list with nearby store recommendations, and the ability to review comments on recipes and share with others.

The app also offers an alternative horizontal view when following along with instructions. iFood is available from the App Store for $1.
