Apps: Manhour, Easy WMV, Media Catalog

  • ManHour 1.1 ($10) helps track time while a user is working and can automatically select from multiple hourly rates and calculate fees due. Manhour can be setup with different hourly rates that can be applied to different time intervals. Allowing the application to automatically start charging overtime rates after normal hours have been exceeded. Manhour also allows a user to choose their own billing blocks allowing them to bill per half hour, or even every three seconds. New in version 1.1 is a Log Editor for editing recorded time, flexible log viewing options and new log export functionality. [Download - 1.1MB]

  • EasyWMV 1.4 ($15) is a tool for converting or resizing WMV, ASF, AVI, MPEG, MOV, FLV, NSV, SWF, Real Media and VOB files. Videos can be converted to either the MPG or MP4 format which are then compatible for use on an iPod or iPhone. Other features include iTunes integration, drag-and-drop, batch processing and independent adjustment of audio and video quality. Version 1.4 adds support for Real Media input files and also includes audio notifications for when conversions finish. [Download - 4.6MB]

  • Media Catalog 4.1 ($25) indexes removable media such as backup CDs and DVDs so that the media can be searched at anytime. This allows a user to perform a search for a file and if it is on a backup disk Media Catalog will locate that and inform the user which disc to look on. Version 4.1 adds an updated interface that includes options for sending feedback and a variety of bug fixes. [Download - 1.5MB]

  • Password Repository 2.6 ($25) helps users to manage all of their passwords and accounts inside an encrypted document. The application displays the data inside a sortable table along with custom color tags, which can be used to help users sort out related passwords. The update has improved the handling of categories and also includes several bug fixes. [Download - 0.98MB]

  • GlimmerBlocker 1.2 (free) is an ad-blocker that is implemented as an http proxy so that it does not compromise the stability of Safari. Version 1.2 now features a history tab, keyword expansion, an improved error page and a preview option for testing changes without applying them. [Download - 1.7MB]
