Matrox intros PowerDesk multi-display management app

updated 05:30 pm EST, Mon December 22, 2008

Matrox PowerDesk

Matrox Graphics has introduced PowerDesk, an application that works with Graphics eXpansion Modules (GXMs) and allows users to manage multiple applications on a multi-display configuration. Window behaviors and arrangements can be controlled with customizable keyboard shortcuts, allowing windows to be moved between monitors or applications enlarged to fill one display. Users can also place the Dock on the bottom left, center, or right side of the main screen.

PowerDesk requires a GXM, such as the DualHead2Go or the TripleHead2Go modules. The software is available for free from the company's support page.
