RiffWorks Standard 2.5

Sonoma Wire Works has released RiffWorks Standard 2.5, the latest edition of its guitar recording software with drums, effects, song posting, and online collaboration capabilities. Features offer improved compressors on layers and riffs, automatic imports from the FourTrack iPhone app using Bonjour, and a progress bar during Rifflink song loading. Also included is an improved output compressor/limiter, which eliminates pumping and breathing at high output levels.

Other changes allow users to record and export 32-bit files, instead of the previous 16-bit, and an option to mix a 32-bit floating-point WAV file. More export options enable all riffs from a song to be exported as WAV files and stored into separate folders, or imported into any DAW. The Sonoma 7 VST plug-in, downloaded separately, is able to save all effects presets during export for later access.

A free update for existing customers, RiffWorks Standard 2.5 is priced at $130 new.
