  • ShutterBug 2.5 ($40) is a website creation tool with the ability to publish web albums, photo journals, and create online stores. The software includes a set of themes and templates that give users the ability to create a custom look with little to no HTML knowledge. The most recent release includes a PayPal Shopping Cart feature that allows one to add a shopping cart to their site without the technical know how behind the coding. The release also includes: Random Order and Loop slideshow options, better handling of text zoom in the browser, Before/After slideshows and image rollovers along with a few other bug fixes.   • CheckUp 2.0 beta ($29) is a tool designed to check and monitor the behavior of a Mac system, either locally or remotely. The latest update has enhanced the user interface and added a new function to test the memory and check for bad components. Other enhancements include: new optimization functions, a new documents tab view, a new function for finding duplicate files, a redesigned wireless network detector and more. [Download - 15.9MB]

  • Evernote 1.2 (free) lets a user capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform is available. This information is then accessible and search able at anytime. The software can be used for creating notes that handle both text and audio and finding printed and handwritten text within images. The 1.2 update includes a new feature for premium users that allows them to add any file or document to a note, sync it, then access it from anywhere. [Download - 5.4MB]

  • Typinator 3.3 ($27) is a tool that will type our repeating texts and pictures. Users can set up a list of commonly used words and images, and then set up fragments that can be used trigger each phrase or image. For example the shortcut "brb" could be used to trigger Typinator to fill in the text "be right back." Version 3.3 adds a new Set Info window for convenient editing of options. Each set can also now have its own expansion sound. This is a sound or tone played to let a user know that the application has detected a shortcut and added the phrase. [Download - 2.7MB]

  • ReelBean 3.9 ($) can be used to convert movies to Apple TV, video iPod MPEG4, H.264, AVI and other formats. The software also has media playing features that allow users to view media files from within the application. In version 3.9 all ReelBean windows retain their previous screen position when reopened and the toolbar height has been reduced and the icons have been scaled appropriately. [Download - 6.2MB]
